We respond to current climate challenges with a comprehensive and sustainable approach that integrates water management, landscape, and transportation solutions. Our design takes into account the historical context and potential of the area, which is key to preserving its local character and identity. Last but not least, we consider the aesthetic and functional improvement of public spaces, whose qualitative development will contribute to a better life for residents.
The priority of the proposed changes is the revitalization of green spaces, water features, and the overall development of the quality of the natural environment within the municipality. As part of the overall development, we are connecting fragmented vegetation elements into coherent functional systems that will bring a higher degree of ecological stability to the area and improve local drainage conditions.
In the current state of the public space, we identify several positive aspects that enrich the area in question. These include the presence of a watercourse, extensive green areas, and mature greenery, which complete the atmosphere of the place. Historical landmarks, especially Santini’s modifications to the church tower, elevate the place to regional significance. However, we face challenges in the area that require attention and care. The current layout of the square suffers from a lack of clarity and representativeness, which reduces the overall impression of the village center itself.
