While designing a parking lot near a nursery, we tried to bring in additional value beyond parking. Therefore, we created a space for gathering on the corner where residents of the community are encouraged to play and relax. Particularly important to us were material choices and their interfaces sin a way that did not detract from the rural atmosphere of the place. The paving with wide gaps, capable of retaining water, is complemented by beds of mature flowers and trees that provide shade.
